Amano Chocolate

Amano Chocolate

You can tell a lot about a brand by its name. Amano means "by hand" and "they love" in Italian, which reveals the love and level of perfection that goes into each handmade chocolate. Based in Orem, Utah, Art Pollard and Clark Goble, the chocolatiers at the helm of the brand, travel the globe in search of the finest cocoa beans. Some of the areas they source their cocoa from include the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Venezuela and Mexico. They are involved in every step of the chocolate-making process, from visiting the cocoa bean plantations to buying directly from the growers to working with them to perfect the growing, fermenting and drying process. World Wide Chocolate carries many of their milk and dark chocolate savory creations. Shop our assortment for the ones that satisfy your craving for something sweet and flavorful.

World Wide Chocolate

One of the goals of Amano Chocolate is to "seek not to be the largest chocolate company, but simply to make the very best chocolate humanly - or heavenly - possible." By working in small batches, they can give each product the love and attention needed to satisfy the taste buds of chocolate connoisseurs. The owners plan on staying true to their mission and hope to be able to pass the company down to the next generation and the generations that follow.

Each of Amano's milk and dark chocolate bars are labeled with the name of the region where the cocoa beans were sourced to make the final product. Amano Ocumare 70 Percent Cocoa Dark Chocolate Bar, for example, is made from cocoa from the Ocumare region in Venezuela. Other regions found in our assortment include the Guayas River Basin in Ecuador; Dos Rios, Dominican Republic; Morobe, Papua New Guinea and several others.
