One of the goals of Amano Chocolate is to "seek not to be the largest chocolate company, but simply to make the very best chocolate humanly - or heavenly - possible." By working in small batches, they can give each product the love and attention needed to satisfy the taste buds of chocolate connoisseurs. The owners plan on staying true to their mission and hope to be able to pass the company down to the next generation and the generations that follow.
Each of Amano's milk and dark chocolate bars are labeled with the name of the region where the cocoa beans were sourced to make the final product. Amano Ocumare 70 Percent Cocoa Dark Chocolate Bar, for example, is made from cocoa from the Ocumare region in Venezuela. Other regions found in our assortment include the Guayas River Basin in Ecuador; Dos Rios, Dominican Republic; Morobe, Papua New Guinea and several others.
