We hope everyone out there in our Cocoa Community is enjoying some much needed social engagement as we all gradually transition back to some degree of “normalcy!”

We at WWC continue to employ best practices, handle your orders with care and adhere to strict safety protocols in our facilities and with regard to order management. On the update front, in an effort to provide a seamless checkout process, we have added the ability to pay by Apple & Google pay respectively. We hope those inclined find this to be a convenient option. However, when we did so, we realized that the folks paying by these methods, skipped over a page in the checkout process, that prevented them from having the opportunity to ad our warm weather packaging (WWP) option to their orders. To resolve this issue, we have revised our payment pages slightly, to offer the WWP option earlier in the checkout process.

Also, to those of you in the know and those of you who may just be discovering our site…warmer weather is here, which means it’s “that time of year!” Yes, we all welcome the warmer temperatures and opportunities to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, but unfortunately those higher temps are not conducive to shipping chocolate! So as has been our practice the last few years, we have changed the default to include WWP, unless you choose to opt out. You will notice that you are now required to select “Free shipping plus WWP” or “Free shipping”. Like previous years, during the warmer months (now), we will have the default set to include the WWP option, and we will reverse that when things cool down, usually around October. As always the decision to ad WWP remains at the customers discretion. We offer some insights or “rules of thumb” on our recommended best practices, under the Warm Weather Packaging guide on our shipping page.
