Meltage, Return & Refund Policy

All shipped chocolate goods that are opened when received are exempt from being returns and refunds. If you receive the wrong product, we will issue a return label and send the proper product at no additional cost.

Refunds

WWC will refund melted orders who have purchased the Warm Weather Packaging (WWP) add-on*. View our Warm Weather Packaging Guidelines here. 

*FOR ALL MELTED PRODUCTS, YOU MUST SEND AN IMAGE OF THE PRODUCTS RECEIVED WITHIN 24 -HOURS OF THE PRODUCT BEING DELIVERED. IF YOU DO NOT, WE WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND. WE INSULATE PACAKGES WITH SUFFICIENT ICE/INSULATION MATERIALS TO LAST THE ROUTE IN TRANSIT, NOT TO SIT OUTSIDE A PLACE OF RESIDENCE/BUSINESS FOR [X] DAYS, THEN TO BE BROUGHT INSIDE.

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TRACKING INFORMATION, WHICH YOU RECEIVE VIA EMAIL WHEN YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPED.

IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE HOME TO RECEIVE AN ORDER, AND IT IS HOT IN YOUR AREA, DO NOT ORDER EXPENSIVE PERISHABLE PRODUCTS.

E.G. “I forgot I ordered this, and it was sitting outside in 95° heat for the past three days. Can you send me a replacement?” DOES NOT WARRANT A REFUND, NOR REPLACEMENT.

IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT contact@worldwidechocolate.com WITH IMAGES OF MELTED PRODUCTS RECEIVED WITHIN 24-HOURS OF THE TIME OF DELIVERY, WE WILL NOT REFUND, REPLACE, OR ACCEPT A RETURN.

IF ARE OUT OF TOWN, BUT WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A FLASH SALE. LEAVE AN ORDER NOTE AT CHECKOUT INDICATING “OUT OF TOWN UNTIL [DATE], PLEASE HOLD SHIPPING UNTIL MY RETURN.”
