Kanda Chocolate
Ghanaian Chocolate Made at the Source
Karen Blackwell founded Kanda Chocolate in an effort to elevate the chocolate tasting experience while maintaining a commitment to social responsibility. Kanda only sources Fair Trade Ghanaian cocoa to make their chocolate for a unique bean-to-bar experience. The entire product line is grown, processed, packed and posted straight from Ghana, using only simple, pure, and non-GMO ingredients. Karen also founded Sage of Alms, a Black-Owned, Woman-Owned benefit corporation with Kanda Chocolates as one of the represented brands. Their mission is to make a measurable impact on the world through sustainable business practives to not only help the environment, while also putting a strong effort forward to better those lives underepresented through employment practices, partnerships, and charitable giving. Kanda also donates 10% of proceeds to charitable organizations, and what started as a love for chocolate, has transformed into Kanda.
